Product Description
KOS-SR Scum Skimmers are very effective in removing unwanted immiscible floating oils, oily scum And thin greases, from the surface of water and solution. In ordinary oil skimmers, oily scum and greases, after wiped out from the belt surface, move very slowly toward an oil trough and accumulate On the oil trough as well as in a built-in water reservoir at the base of the skimmers. This troublesome Accumulation, in consequence, clogs up troughs and piping toward outlets for oils and water in The skimmers.
How it works
The motor-driven oleophilic belt rotates two pulleys going in and out of the surface oil layer. The Floating oily substances stick to both sides of the rotating belt and get wiped out as the belt passes
Between bisymmetric wiper blades. Falling down toward a positively sloped guide chute, the wiped oils And oily substances instantly discharge off outside.
